Real Time Temperature and Humidity monitoring in Food Storage
As the saying goes, food is of paramount importance to people. As the world’s largest food producer, China cultivates a quarter of the world’s food with less than 7% of the world’s cultivated land and feeds about one fifth of the world’s population, making a significant contribution to global food security.
According to the data published by the National Bureau of Statistics, the total summer grain output in 2024 amounts to 149.78 million tons, which is increased 3.627 million tons than last year. Among them, wheat output was 138.22 million tons, marking an increase of 3.658 million tons compared to the previous year. There was a bumper harvest of summer grain across the country, and how to preserve them also is the top issue.
The temperature and humidity during the storage are crucial factors that affect the food quality. For wheat, the optimal storage temperature is 10℃,and the optimal storage humidity is 14%-16%. We can use the data loggers to monitor the real time temperature and humidity data, thereby ensuring the food quality.
We developed a real-time temperature/humidity monitoring system for warehouse. It is composed of Bluetooth data loggers, G100-S gateway, router, cloud platform and mobile APP, etc. Via our mobile APP or PC platform, users can remotely check the real-time temperature and humidity data. And alarm will be notified via SMS or email once any abnormal data, then the management personnel can take measures to avoid any potential losses.
