Real-time Temperature Monitoring Solutions for Tobacco Leaf Storage

The quality of cigarettes is mainly determined by the quality of  tobacco leaves. After selection, the tobacco leaves is of high quality. The most critical factor in maintaining high quality is the storage environment. Tobacco leaf warehouses generally requires the storage temperature to be below 30°C and the humidity to be between 55% and 65%; In high-temperature and high-humidity seasons, the warehouse temperature is controlled below 32°C and the relative humidity is controlled below 70%. The storage temperature and humidity are the most important environmental parameters affecting the quality of tobacco leaves, they also are the most important reference standards for tobacco leaf mildew prevention.

Freshliance developed the real time temperature monitoring solution, which is composed of the Bluetooth temperature data loggers and wifi gateway. In this system, BlueTag series data loggers record temperature and humidity on site and continuously transmit all data to the G100-S WiFi gateway via Bluetooth communication. And then G100-S transmits all the data to the cloud via WIFI communication. This system can support up to 20 pieces of configurable Bluetooth loggers, it can completely cover the warehouse. Via our mobile APP or PC platform, users can remotely check real-time temperature and humidity monitoring, live change and data history, if any alarm data, it will inform the users by SMS or email.
